Job Description

Select Offshore is seeking experienced Welder Fitters for upcoming assignments onboard Jack-Up Barges.

The successful candidate will carry out welding, fabrication, fitting, and repair work on offshore structures, equipment, and vessel components while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform welding and fabrication work as instructed.
• Carry out fitting, repair, and maintenance of offshore equipment and structures.
• Perform welding repairs using appropriate procedures and equipment.
• Inspect completed work and ensure compliance with required quality standards.
• Maintain welding tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Follow hot-work, permit-to-work, and offshore safety procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience on barges or offshore vessels.
• Valid 6G Welding Certificate.
• Experience on vessels above 400 GRT.
• Previous experience on Jack-Up Barges is preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates where applicable.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and seafarer’s documents.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work safely in an offshore environment and comply with hot-work procedures.
