Job Description:
WRS is seeking an experienced Fitter to join the crew of a Heavy Lift Semi-Submersible vessel. The initial mobilization is in the Netherlands on the 21st of January. Following operations there, the vessel will relocate to UK waters in February. You will be responsible for performing mechanical fitting, maintenance, and repair tasks on board, supporting the vessel's heavy lift and maritime operations.
Key Note: You must hold the legal right to work in the United Kingdom, as this will be required for the vessel's upcoming operational phase.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company and vessel policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
· Performing mechanical fitting, assembly, and installation of equipment and machinery.
· Conducting planned maintenance, inspections, and repairs on deck machinery, hydraulic systems, and vessel equipment.
· Reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
· Operating workshop machinery (lathes, milling machines, grinders) and hand/power tools safely and efficiently.
· Assisting with lifting operations and cargo securing as required.
· Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop and work environment in compliance with QHSE standards.

Requirements:
· Recognized trade certification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
· Valid STCW certifications (including basic safety training).
· Valid Seaman's Book (CDC).
· Valid Passport.
· Valid offshore medical fitness certificate (e.g., OGUK or equivalent).
· Valid BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS certification.
· Mandatory: Valid right to work in the United Kingdom.
· Previous experience working on offshore vessels, preferably heavy lift or semi-submersible units.
· Proficiency in English communication.

Employment Details:
· Contract Duration: Ongoing, project-based.
· Rotation: 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off.
