Job Description:
Faststream is currently recruiting an experienced Fitter to join a Offshore DP2 Vessel operating in UK waters. The position is offered on a 4-week contract, with a possible variation of approximately one week. Travel to and from the assignment will be organised and paid.
Open Position:
Fitter – Offshore DP2 Vessel
Key Responsibilities:
• Carrying out mechanical maintenance and repairs onboard
• Inspecting and maintaining machinery and equipment
• Supporting the engineering department with planned maintenance
• Performing welding and fabrication work as required
• Following vessel safety, maintenance, and HSE procedures
Requirements:
• UK Right to Work / Frontier Worker Permit
• Previous experience as a Fitter on similar vessels
• Valid CoC
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid HUET or BOSIET/FOET
• Valid Welding certification/qualification
• Availability to join 8 September 2026
• Good English communication skills
