Job Description:
Aavishka is urgently recruiting 2 experienced Welders / Fitters to join a fleet of Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barges (SPJUB) operating under ARAMCO-approved projects. The positions require relevant offshore vessel experience and valid maritime certification. Immediate joining is available, subject to applicable ARAMCO approval requirements.
Open Positions:
• 2 × Welder / Fitter
Vessel Type: Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge (SPJUB)
Operational Area: ARAMCO / Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities:
• Carrying out welding, fitting, and mechanical maintenance work onboard
• Performing repairs and fabrication on offshore equipment and vessel structures
• Inspecting machinery, components, and fittings for defects
• Supporting the vessel engineering and maintenance teams
• Following offshore safety, maintenance, and HSE procedures
Requirements:
• Certificate of Proficiency: Able Seafarer Engine / Mechanic (II/5) COP issued by the candidate’s home country
• Minimum 24–48 months of experience as a Welder / Fitter on similar offshore vessels
• Relevant offshore and vessel maintenance experience
• All relevant certificates and documents valid for at least 12 months
• Good knowledge of offshore safety procedures
• Ability to work effectively as part of an offshore team
Employment Details:
• Positions: 2 × Welder / Fitter
• Vessel: Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge
• Operational Area: Saudi Arabia / ARAMCO
• Rotation: 180 days on / 180 days off, unpaid
• Joining: Immediate, subject to applicable ARAMCO PAL requirements
• Salary: To be discussed
• ARAMCO Approval: Applicable requirements to be fulfilled
