Job Description:
DOF is currently seeking a qualified and motivated professional to join its Survey and Positioning Team as a Surveyor – Grade II based in Houston, Texas. This role supports offshore survey operations onboard advanced offshore support vessels operating within the Oil and Gas industry.
The successful candidate will work within a highly skilled and innovative offshore team, assisting in the setup, operation, monitoring, and quality control of survey and positioning systems during offshore operations. The role involves supporting Senior Surveyors and Party Chiefs while ensuring survey data integrity, operational efficiency, and compliance with company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assist in setting up and testing navigation and data logging systems
• Support calibration and quality control of survey sensors and positioning systems
• Monitor and maintain online survey operations under supervision
• Maintain survey quality records and daily operational logbooks
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, offshore safety standards, and environmental regulations
• Participate in emergency drills, hazard identification, and risk assessment activities
• Report Health, Safety, and Environmental concerns to supervisors and offshore management
Requirements:
• Previous offshore survey or marine operations experience preferred
• Knowledge of navigation and positioning systems
• Understanding of survey data logging and quality control procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
• Ability to work in offshore operational environments
• Willingness to learn and develop within the offshore survey sector
