Job Description:
A leading offshore survey company is recruiting an experienced Senior Surveyor to join its Survey & Positioning Team based in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing offshore survey assignments, supervising junior surveyors, ensuring survey quality standards, and supporting offshore positioning operations on complex offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, test, and operate online navigation and data logging systems.
- Calibrate survey sensors and positioning equipment.
- Monitor the performance and quality of positioning systems and logged survey data.
- Maintain accurate survey records, daily logbooks, field memos, and client reports.
- Supervise, mentor, and support Junior Surveyors during offshore operations.
- Ensure survey activities comply with project specifications and company procedures.
- Participate in hazard identification, risk assessments, and offshore safety meetings.
- Report operational issues and survey data that do not meet quality standards.
- Support offshore survey and positioning operations during 12-hour offshore shifts.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of offshore surveying experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or a related discipline (or equivalent offshore surveying experience).
- Valid Offshore Medical Certificate.
- Valid Offshore Survival Certificate (BOSIET/FOET or equivalent).
- Experience with offshore survey and deep-water positioning systems.
- Knowledge of USBL and LBL installation, calibration, and positioning.
- Experience with Jumper Metrology measurements.
- Knowledge of networking and survey system interfacing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
- Good English communication skills.
