Job Description
SA World is currently seeking experienced offshore professionals for upcoming projects commencing in December 2026 in Germany.
We are looking for qualified Surveyors with Qinsy experience and experienced Engineers to support offshore operations involving cable laying and geophysical surveys.
Candidates who are EU nationals or already hold a valid work permit for Germany will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Depending on the position, duties may include:
- Support offshore cable-laying and geophysical survey operations.
- Perform assigned survey or engineering duties safely and efficiently.
- Operate and monitor relevant survey, engineering and offshore equipment.
- For Surveyors, use Qinsy for offshore survey and data-processing activities.
- Support project preparation, mobilisation and offshore operations.
- Maintain accurate operational, survey and technical records.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and emergency procedures.
- Follow company HSE, environmental and offshore safety requirements.
- Work effectively as part of a professional multinational offshore team.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Relevant offshore experience in the applied position.
- Experience with cable-laying and/or geophysical survey projects is an advantage.
- Valid professional qualifications and offshore certificates applicable to the role.
- Valid medical certification where required.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.
- Availability to commence from December 2026.
- EU nationality or valid German work permit preferred.
Surveyor – Qinsy
- Previous offshore survey experience.
- Strong Qinsy experience – mandatory for survey roles.
- Experience supporting cable-laying and/or geophysical survey operations.
- Relevant survey qualifications and offshore documentation.
- Ability to work with survey data and offshore positioning systems.
Engineer
- Relevant engineering qualification and professional experience.
- Previous offshore project experience.
- Cable-laying, subsea or geophysical project experience is an advantage.
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
