Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Offshore Shift Supervisor (Construction) with a strong background in offshore construction and diving operations.
The successful candidate will supervise offshore construction activities, coordinate operational teams and ensure that works are executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project procedures and HSE requirements.
Experience working consistently onboard the same vessel is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise offshore construction activities during assigned shifts.
- Coordinate construction crews, subcontractors and offshore personnel.
- Ensure all construction works are carried out safely and according to approved procedures.
- Monitor project progress, work quality and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with the Offshore Construction Manager and other project departments.
- Support planning and execution of offshore construction and diving activities.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, permit-to-work and project requirements.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and operational briefings.
- Identify operational issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain effective communication between offshore teams and project management.
- Support emergency response and ensure safe working conditions onboard.
Requirements
- Minimum 6–7 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as:
- Assistant Superintendent – Offshore Operations
- Assistant Offshore Construction Manager
- Deputy Offshore Construction Manager
- Assistant Offshore Construction Manager / OCM
- or equivalent offshore construction management position.
- Strong and proven offshore construction experience.
- Previous diving experience – mandatory.
- Consistent experience working onboard the same vessel is preferred.
- Technical High School Diploma or background in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Naval Engineering preferred.
- Fluent English.
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
- High level of safety awareness and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary offshore teams.
