Job Description:
Gulf Marine Services is currently seeking an experienced Pump Supervisor to join its offshore operations onboard a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge in the UAE. The successful candidate will oversee pumping operations, supervise pump personnel, and ensure the safe and efficient execution of well service activities. This role requires extensive experience with pump units, batch mixers, material handling, and chemical handling in the offshore oil & gas industry, while maintaining full compliance with GMS safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise daily pumping operations and well service activities onboard.
Operate and oversee pump units, batch mixers, and associated equipment.
Ensure safe handling of materials and chemicals in accordance with HSE procedures.
Lead and mentor pump operators to maintain efficient and safe operations.
Ensure compliance with client requirements, company procedures, and GMS Training & Competence standards.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates (where applicable).
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Minimum 6 years of experience operating pumps and batch mixers in the offshore oil & gas industry.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience as a Pump Supervisor or in an equivalent role.
Strong knowledge of pump units, batch mixers, material handling, and chemical handling procedures.
Experience supervising pump operators during offshore well service operations.
Must be client approvable and compliant with GMS Training & Competence requirements.
