Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off
Travel: Regular travel between Dubai, West Africa and vessels

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Offshore Marine Superintendent to join a permanent team supporting a fleet of DP2 PSVs and offshore support vessels operating between Dubai and West Africa.

The successful candidate will have strong offshore marine experience, extensive PSV/DP2 knowledge and a solid understanding of marine safety, compliance and vessel operations. Previous Marine Superintendent experience is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

  •  Supporting the safe and efficient operation of DP2 PSV and offshore support vessels 
  •  Monitoring vessel performance, marine operations and compliance with company procedures 
  •  Supporting implementation of ISM, ISPS, MLC and HSE requirements 
  •  Providing operational and technical support to vessel crews and management 
  •  Conducting regular travel between Dubai, West Africa and assigned vessels 

Requirements:

  • 5–10+ years of offshore marine experience
  •  Strong experience with PSV / DP2 vessels
  •  Previous West Africa experience preferred 
  •  Previous Marine Superintendent experience is an advantage 
  •  Good knowledge of: 
    •  DP2 operations 
    •  HSE 
    •  ISM 
    •  ISPS 
    •  MLC 
    •  General vessel operations 
  •  Strong communication and organizational skills 
  •  Candidates from European, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Azerbaijani or South African backgrounds are considered
