Job Description

Sheffield Energies is looking for an experienced Senior Dynamic Positioning Officer (DPO) to support DP operations onboard a deepwater pipelay and heavy crane construction vessel.

The role involves monitoring the vessel’s position and heading, supervising DP operations as assigned, assessing operational risks and supporting safe offshore construction activities.

Requirements

• Previous Senior DPO experience on offshore, pipelay, heavy-lift or construction vessels preferred.
• Valid DPO certification appropriate to the position.
• Relevant DP operational experience.
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant offshore certificates.
• Valid travel documents and seaman’s book.
• Strong understanding of DP systems, operational procedures and risk management.
• Good command of English.
• Availability for December 2026 mobilization, subject to client approval.
• Expatriate candidates preferred for officer positions.
