Job Description:
OJCrew is looking for an experienced Senior Dynamic Positioning Officer (SDPO) to join a DSV (Dive Support Vessel) within an offshore fleet.
The successful candidate must have previous experience in rank on DSV or offshore vessels and hold a valid DP Unlimited Certificate. The role involves supporting safe navigation, DP operations, and offshore subsea activities.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Conduct safe navigational and DP watchkeeping operations.
Monitor and operate the vessel's DP system in accordance with approved procedures.
Support safe subsea, diving, and offshore project operations.
Maintain accurate DP, navigation, and operational records.
Ensure compliance with company, maritime, and offshore safety procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as SDPO onboard a DSV or offshore vessel.
Experience in rank on the offshore fleet.
Valid DP Unlimited Certificate – mandatory.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Good working English.
Strong DP, navigational, and safety awareness.
