Location: Qatar
We urgently require an experienced Chief Officer / SDPO to join an AHTS DP2 vessel operating offshore in Qatar.
The vessel is engaged in offshore support and anchor handling operations under Qatar Energy projects. The successful candidate must have strong DP competence, proven AHTS DP2 experience, and prior Qatar Energy approval.
This position requires a safety-focused officer capable of supporting DP operations, vessel maneuvering, and offshore project execution in compliance with client and company standards.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the Master in safe navigation and DP operations on AHTS DP2 vessel
• Acting as SDPO during DP operations and offshore activities
• Supervision of deck operations including anchor handling, towing, and supply duties
• Ensuring compliance with DP procedures, SMS, and Qatar Energy requirements
• Monitoring safety standards, toolbox talks, and operational risk assessments
• Maintaining accurate logs, reports, and operational documentation

• Valid STCW certificates appropriate to the rank
• Full DP Certificate (Unlimited)
• Minimum 24 months experience as Chief Officer / SDPO on DP2 AHTS or PSV vessels
• Previous Qatar Energy approval is mandatory

• Good level of spoken and written English
• Valid Passport, Seaman’s Book, and Medical Certificate
