Job Description:
A leading offshore company is seeking an experienced Chief Officer / Senior Dynamic Positioning Officer (SDPO) to join its offshore fleet operating in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will serve onboard Platform Supply Vessels (PSV), DP2 vessels, and Survey Vessels, supporting offshore operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, navigation, and dynamic positioning.
Candidates should have substantial experience in offshore vessel operations and be capable of leading deck operations, DP activities, and vessel safety management.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise deck operations, navigation, and cargo activities onboard offshore vessels.
Maintain safe Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations during offshore projects.
Lead the deck crew and ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
Coordinate offshore operations with the Master and project personnel.
Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company standards.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Certificate of Competency appropriate for Chief Officer / SDPO
Valid DP Unlimited or equivalent certification (where applicable)
Minimum 3 years of experience on PSV, DP2, or Survey Vessels
Previous offshore operational experience
