Job Description:

A shipping company is seeking a 2nd Officer / SDPO for an OSV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea.
The vessel is engaged in offshore support operations, including SUR/ROV/IMR activities, and the position requires candidates with proven dynamic positioning experience.
This is a short-term contract with competitive daily wages. Only candidates meeting nationality and vaccination requirements will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
 • Navigation and watchkeeping as Officer of the Watch
 • Operating and monitoring the vessel’s Dynamic Positioning (DP) system
 • Participation in SUR/ROV/IMR offshore operations
 • Maintaining DP logbook and operational records
 • Ensuring compliance with safety, company, and maritime regulations

Requirements:

• Valid Officer of the Watch License
• DP Full Certificate and DP Logbook
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Minimum 18 months actual onboard experience on similar OSV / DP vessels in the rank of 2nd Officer / SDPO
• Solid experience in SUR/ROV/IMR operations
• Proficiency in English communication
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
• Only EU Nationals holding a valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian nationals under UK Holder of Protection status

• Salary: EUR 330 per day
