Job Description
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is recruiting an experienced 1st Officer / SDPO to join a large Accommodation Vessel operating in Guyana.
The successful candidate will support the vessel's marine operations, bridge watchkeeping, dynamic positioning activities, deck operations, and safety management. Candidates must be available to join on 7 October 2026 for a 5-week assignment.
A valid Guyana visa must be held in hand prior to joining.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining safe bridge and navigational watchkeeping duties.
- Supporting DP operations as Senior Dynamic Positioning Officer.
- Assisting with deck and marine operations onboard the accommodation vessel.
- Ensuring compliance with vessel safety procedures and international maritime regulations.
- Supporting emergency preparedness, drills, and safe vessel operations.
Requirements
- Valid Guyana visa in hand – mandatory.
- Valid CoC appropriate to rank.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid passport.
- Valid Seaman’s Book.
- Valid medical certificate.
- Valid BOSIET / FOET.
- Valid CA-EBS.
- Yellow Fever vaccination.
- Valid FRB certification.
- Previous experience as 1st Officer / SDPO on offshore or accommodation vessels is preferred.
- Proficiency in English communication.
