Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join a Pipe-Lay Vessel for an ASAP mobilisation. The initial contract duration is 5 weeks, with a possible extension up to 10 weeks depending on project requirements. This role is suitable for candidates with offshore safety experience, ideally with previous exposure to UK offshore projects, who are available to join at short notice. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance onboard during offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Monitoring and enforcing onboard health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures
• Conducting safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments as required
• Supporting the vessel crew in maintaining compliance with offshore safety regulations
• Investigating incidents and assisting with reporting and corrective actions
• Promoting a strong safety culture across all vessel operations and work activities

Requirements:
• Valid STCW documentation
• BOSIET + CA-EBS certification
• Valid Medical fitness certificate
• Previous experience in a Safety Officer role onboard offshore vessels
• Experience on UK offshore projects is preferred
• Proficiency in English communication
