Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Rig Safety Advisor to join a Drillship for offshore operations.
This position is offered for one hitch or more, depending on project requirements and performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a strong safety culture onboard, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting safe drilling operations.
The Rig Safety Advisor will work closely with onboard management and crew to maintain high HSE standards and ensure adherence to international offshore safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Monitoring and enforcing HSE policies and procedures onboard
• Conducting safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Leading toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Investigating incidents and reporting findings
• Supporting compliance with flag state and client safety requirements
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates (if applicable)
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Previous experience as Rig Safety Advisor on Drillship or similar offshore unit
• Strong knowledge of offshore HSE regulations and procedures
