Job Description:
An opportunity is available for an experienced HSE Officer to join a Cable Laying Vessel operating in Taiwan, with joining scheduled for 20th April. The vessel is engaged in cable installation projects, likely supporting offshore wind or subsea infrastructure development. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all onboard operations, particularly during cable installation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Monitoring and enforcing HSE policies and procedures onboard
• Conducting risk assessments and safety inspections during cable installation operations
• Promoting a strong safety culture among crew members
• Investigating incidents and ensuring proper reporting and corrective actions
• Ensuring compliance with international and project-specific safety standards
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• GWO certifications (mandatory)
• NEBOSH certification
• Chester Step (mandatory)
• Valid passport
• Seaman’s book
Employment Details:
