Job Description:
A freelance opportunity is available for an experienced Senior ROV Pilot/Technician to support an offshore Platform Inspection project in Angola. The successful candidate will operate a SEAEYE LYNX ROV system during a 30-day offshore campaign. The project is scheduled to commence in the first week of September.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Operate and maintain the SEAEYE LYNX ROV system during offshore inspection activities.
- Perform platform inspection tasks in accordance with project specifications and safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot ROV equipment and ensure operational readiness throughout the campaign.
- Complete operational reports and maintain accurate ROV logbook records.
- Comply with company HSE standards and offshore regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates (if applicable)
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
- Proficiency in English communication
- Previous experience operating SEAEYE LYNX ROV systems
- IMCA ROV Competency Certificate
- Updated CV and Work Grid
- Scanned copy of ROV Log Book
- BOSIET or FOET Certificate
- H2S Certificate (if available)
- Valid Seaman's Book
