Job Description:
DOF Subsea Canada is currently seeking detail-oriented and client-focused professionals for the position of ROV Pilot Technician to support both local and international offshore operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic offshore subsea team and develop a long-term career within the offshore Oil & Gas and renewable energy industries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting work-class ROV systems onboard offshore support vessels while ensuring compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and offshore safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operate and maintain work-class ROV systems during offshore operations
• Assist with ROV maintenance, repairs, testing, and mobilization activities
• Follow instructions from the Operational ROV Supervisor during offshore tasks
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) procedures
• Participate in project operations, technical troubleshooting, and system preparation
• Maintain familiarity with company Business Management System (BMS) procedures
• Support technical reporting and operational documentation onboard
Requirements:
• Previous experience with work-class ROV systems
• Post-secondary education in one of the following fields preferred:
