Job Description:
AquaTerra is currently recruiting an experienced Team Lead Rigger for an offshore project. Mobilisation is scheduled from Aberdeen on 8 July, with an estimated offshore duration of approximately 13 days. The successful candidate will lead rigging operations, supervise the rigging team, and ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and offshore regulations. Candidates holding IRATA Level 3 certification are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Lead and supervise offshore rigging and lifting operations.
Plan and coordinate safe execution of lifting activities.
Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with HSE procedures.
Inspect rigging equipment and verify lifting gear certification.
Mentor rigging personnel and maintain effective communication with the offshore team.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
IRATA Level 3 certification is preferred.
Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Rigging.
Valid OPITO Rigger Assessment certificate.
Valid Working at Height (WAH) Unit 2 certification.
Previous experience as a Team Lead Rigger on offshore projects.
