Skipper for Multicat Vessel

Job Description

An urgent opportunity is available for an experienced Skipper to join a Multicat vessel operating in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe navigation and operation of the vessel, supervising onboard activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable maritime regulations and operational procedures.

Candidates must have relevant certification, substantial experience in the same rank and vessel type, and strong English communication skills. Holding valid Aramco and/or ADNOC approvals will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Command and operate the Multicat vessel safely and efficiently.
• Oversee navigation, passage planning, and vessel positioning during offshore operations.
• Supervise the crew and coordinate daily vessel activities.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, company procedures, and offshore safety requirements.
• Maintain vessel records, operational reports, and required safety documentation.
• Coordinate with offshore project teams and relevant authorities as required.

Requirements

• Valid ANT III certificate.
• Minimum 24 months of experience in the same rank and on the same type of vessel.
• Valid STCW certificates, with the required certification validity of at least 12 months as specified by the employer.
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate and relevant seafarer documents.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Valid Aramco and/or ADNOC approvals are an advantage.
• Strong leadership, navigational, and vessel-handling skills.
• Commitment to safe vessel operations and offshore safety standards.
