Job Description:
A leading offshore contractor is urgently seeking an experienced Rigger Foreman to join a Cable Lay Vessel operating on an offshore project. The successful candidate will supervise rigging crews, coordinate lifting operations, and ensure all rigging activities are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and offshore regulations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced offshore rigging professional with cable lay experience and the legal right to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise and coordinate rigging teams during offshore lifting and cable lay operations.
Plan and oversee safe lifting activities in accordance with approved lifting plans.
Inspect rigging equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Conduct toolbox talks and monitor adherence to HSE procedures.
Liaise with crane operators, deck crew, and project personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (Valid OGUK Medical)
Proficiency in English communication
Must be living in the UK or have the legal right to work in the UK
Full GWO certification
Chester Step Test certificate
Valid Rigging Certificate
Previous experience as a Rigger Foreman on offshore or cable lay vessels is preferred
