Job Description:
Select Offshore is seeking an experienced British Rigger Foreman to join an upcoming Cable Lay Project starting in September 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising rigging operations, coordinating lifting activities, and leading offshore rigging teams during cable installation activities.
The role requires proven cable lay experience, strong leadership skills, and full compliance with offshore safety requirements. Candidates must hold valid offshore certifications and have experience working in offshore marine construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise and coordinate rigging teams during offshore cable installation operations.
Plan and execute lifting and rigging activities safely and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with lifting plans, company procedures, and HSE standards.
Inspect rigging equipment and ensure correct use of lifting gear.
Lead toolbox talks and support safe offshore working practices.
Requirements:
Valid BOSIET with CA-EBS certificate
Valid Offshore Medical certificate
Full GWO certification
Valid Rigging Certificate
Proficiency in English communication
British nationality required
Previous Cable Lay Project experience mandatory
Previous offshore rigging supervisory experience preferred
