Job Description:
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting 2 experienced Riggers to join a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) operating offshore in the United Kingdom. The project is scheduled to commence on 11 August and will run for approximately 6 weeks. Successful candidates will support offshore lifting and rigging activities while ensuring compliance with offshore safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform rigging operations for lifting, moving, and securing equipment.
Inspect lifting gear and rigging equipment before and after use.
Assist crane operators and deck crew during offshore lifting operations.
Ensure all lifting activities comply with company HSE procedures.
Participate in emergency drills and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Stage 1 Rigging Certificate
Valid BOSIET / FOET
Valid Offshore Medical Certificate
Valid Seaman's Book
Valid Passport
Previous offshore rigging experience on SOVs or similar offshore vessels is preferred
