Job Description:
We are currently seeking one experienced Rigger for a short-term offshore assignment in the North East UK. The successful candidate will support offshore lifting and rigging operations, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with applicable offshore procedures and HSE requirements.
The position is scheduled to join on 1 August 2026 for a 14-day assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out rigging, slinging, lifting, and securing operations offshore.
Prepare and inspect lifting equipment and rigging gear before operations.
Assist crane operators and deck teams during lifting activities.
Ensure loads are correctly secured and handled in accordance with approved lifting procedures.
Maintain a safe working environment and comply with offshore HSE requirements.
Requirements:
Previous Rigger experience.
Valid OPITO certification.
Valid offshore medical certificate and relevant offshore safety certificates.
UK citizenship or valid UK work visa/right to work in the UK.
Good English communication skills.
Ability to work safely in an offshore environment.
