Job Description:
AquaTerra is recruiting an experienced Onshore Rigger for an additional scope of work on an upcoming site project in Peterhead, UK.
The assignment will run from 3 to 21 August 2026, with 4 × 10-hour shifts per week from Monday to Thursday.
Accommodation is not provided, so this opportunity is best suited to local candidates or applicants who are able to travel to the site on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Performing safe rigging, lifting and load-handling operations.
Inspecting and preparing lifting equipment and rigging accessories.
Supporting the safe positioning and movement of loads.
Following lifting plans, risk assessments and site safety procedures.
Maintaining a safe and compliant work area throughout the assignment.
Requirements:
OPITO Stage 3 or Stage 4 Rigger certification – mandatory.
Relevant onshore rigging experience.
Appropriate trade qualifications.
Valid right to work in the UK.
Valid medical fitness where required.
Good English communication skills.
Availability for the full project period and 10-hour shifts.
