Job Description:
AquaTerra is currently recruiting 1 Onshore Rigger for an upcoming site project in Peterhead, UK.
The assignment will run from 3 to 6 August 2026, covering 4 × 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday.
Accommodation is not provided, therefore the position is best suited to candidates based locally in Peterhead or within daily commuting distance.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carrying out safe lifting, rigging and load-handling operations.
Preparing, inspecting and using lifting equipment and rigging accessories.
Following approved lifting plans, risk assessments and site procedures.
Assisting with the positioning, securing and movement of loads.
Maintaining safe working practices throughout the project.
Requirements:
OPITO Stage 3 or Stage 4 Rigger certification – mandatory.
Relevant onshore rigging experience.
Appropriate trade qualifications.
Valid right to work in the UK.
Valid medical fitness where required.
Good English communication skills.
Ability to complete 10-hour shifts.
