Job Description

Select Offshore is seeking qualified Rigging personnel to support offshore lifting and cargo-handling operations. The successful candidate will assist with the preparation, securing, and movement of loads while ensuring compliance with lifting plans and offshore safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Preparing loads and selecting suitable lifting accessories.
• Inspecting slings, shackles, and other rigging equipment before use.
• Securing loads and assisting with lifting and load-handling operations.
• Communicating with crane operators and other personnel involved in lifting activities.
• Following approved lifting plans, risk assessments, and permit-to-work procedures.
• Reporting damaged equipment and unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Rigger in offshore, oil and gas, or a similar industrial environment.
• Valid rigging qualification or competency certificate appropriate to the role.
• Knowledge of lifting equipment, load security, and safe rigging practices.
• Valid offshore medical certificate.
• Valid offshore safety training, such as BOSIET or FOET, where required.
• Valid passport and relevant employment documents.
• Good communication skills and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
