Job Description
Select Offshore is currently recruiting experienced Riggers for upcoming offshore projects onboard a Multi-Purpose Support Vessel (MPSV) operating in the United Kingdom.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting lifting operations, handling rigging equipment, assisting crane operations, and ensuring the safe execution of offshore construction and maintenance activities in accordance with company and industry safety standards.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced offshore Riggers who are available for late August or late September mobilization.
Position Available
Job Responsibilities
- Perform offshore rigging and lifting operations.
- Prepare, inspect, and maintain lifting gear and rigging equipment.
- Assist crane operators during lifting activities.
- Prepare loads for safe transportation and installation.
- Follow lifting plans, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with offshore HSE procedures and company policies.
- Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings.
- Support offshore construction and maintenance operations.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Previous offshore experience as a Rigger is required.
- British nationality or valid Frontier Worker Permit (FWP) is mandatory.
- Valid Full GWO certification.
- Valid Chester Step certificate.
- Valid OGUK Medical Certificate.
- Valid Banksman certification.
- Valid STCW certification package (where applicable).
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities.
- Physically and medically fit for offshore work.
