Job Description:

A maritime operator is currently seeking an experienced Rigger to join a Heavy Lift Vessel supporting offshore lifting and installation operations in European waters. The vessel is involved in complex heavy lifting projects requiring strict adherence to offshore safety procedures and rigging standards.

The selected candidate will participate in deck lifting operations, rigging preparation, and coordination with crane teams during heavy load handling tasks. Applicants must have relevant offshore certifications and proven experience working on similar heavy lift or offshore construction vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Preparing, inspecting, and maintaining rigging equipment for lifting operations
• Assisting crane teams during heavy lift operations and deck activities
• Ensuring proper load securing and safe rigging procedures
• Conducting routine inspections of lifting gear and deck equipment
• Maintaining compliance with offshore safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Nationality requirement: Malaysian or Indonesian seafarers (Indonesian candidates must hold a valid Schengen Visa)
• BOSIET with CA-EBS certification
• OPITO Rigger Certification Stage 1–4
• Previous experience in the same rank on heavy lift or similar offshore vessels

Employment Details:

• Contract Duration: 12 weeks on / 12 weeks off rotation
• Start Date: 16 March
• Salary: Competitive, based on experience
