We are currently seeking an experienced Rigger to join a Cable Layer Vessel engaged in offshore wind activities in the United States. The successful candidate will support lifting, rigging, and deck operations related to cable laying projects, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with offshore wind standards, company procedures, and international safety regulations.
This role is suitable for offshore professionals with prior offshore wind experience and strong knowledge of rigging and lifting operations.
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Performing rigging, slinging, and lifting operations during cable lay activities
• Assisting with deck operations and offshore wind project tasks
• Ensuring safe use of lifting equipment and rigging gear
• Compliance with HSE policies and offshore wind safety standards
• Working closely with deck crew, crane operators, and supervisors
• Mandatory B1 visa for Transit or Travel to the OCS for wind activities (non-OCS activity)
• Proven experience in offshore wind activities
• Valid BST (Basic Safety Training)
• Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate
• Security Awareness Certificate
• GWO Working at Height (W@H)
• GWO Slinger / Banksman / Rigging / Slinging
• Full GWO certification – preferred
• Good command of English
• Contract Duration: 6 weeks
