Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Rigger to join a Malta-flagged Cable Lay Barge operating in Western European waters. The position involves supporting offshore lifting, rigging, anchor-handling, and personnel transfer activities onboard a cable-laying vessel.
The successful candidate should be experienced in offshore marine operations and comfortable working in a dynamic environment involving lifting operations and boat transfers.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform rigging, lifting, slinging, and securing operations onboard the Cable Lay Barge.
Assist with anchor-handling operations and related deck activities.
Support safe boat transfer operations in accordance with offshore procedures.
Inspect lifting and rigging equipment before use and report defects or unsafe conditions.
Follow all vessel, offshore, and HSE procedures during lifting and deck operations.
Requirements:
Valid offshore certificates.
Previous Rigger experience.
Proven Anchor Handling experience.
Previous Boat Transfer experience.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
EU nationality is mandatory.
Ability to work safely in an offshore marine environment.
