Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Rigger / Deck Foreman to join a long-term offshore cable pull-in project in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and carrying out rigging and deck operations related to offshore cable installation and pull-in activities.
Candidates must have proven experience in offshore cable installation and cable pull-in operations, as well as valid Full GWO certification. The position is offered on a 2 weeks ON / 2 weeks OFF rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise and coordinate rigging and deck activities during cable pull-in operations.
Carry out rigging, lifting, securing, and handling operations in accordance with project procedures.
Coordinate deck crew and ensure safe execution of cable installation activities.
Inspect rigging equipment and ensure all lifting operations comply with safety requirements.
Support the offshore team in maintaining safe and efficient project operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience in offshore cable installation
Previous experience with cable pull-in operations – mandatory
Experience as a Rigger and/or Deck Foreman
Full valid GWO certificates – mandatory
Valid STCW certificates
Valid offshore medical certificate
Good command of English
Strong understanding of offshore lifting and rigging safety procedures
