Job Description:
Helder Maritiem is recruiting experienced Rigger / Able Seaman (AB) personnel to join a Tug Vessel operating in Europe.
The successful candidate will support deck operations, rigging activities, towing operations, and general seamanship duties onboard. Applicants must have previous tug vessel experience and hold valid maritime documentation, including STCW certification and seafarer medical fitness.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform deck operations, rigging tasks, and towing support activities.
Assist with mooring, anchoring, and vessel handling operations.
Handle ropes, wires, and deck equipment safely.
Maintain deck equipment and working areas in safe condition.
Follow company safety procedures and maritime regulations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate
Valid Boat Transfer Certification
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as Rigger / AB onboard Tug vessels preferred
Relevant marine experience required
Good command of Dutch or English language
