Job Description

Select Offshore is inviting applications from qualified Winch Operators for offshore operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring winch equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with operational instructions and established safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operating winch equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
• Inspecting winches, controls, and associated equipment before operation.
• Supporting lifting, deployment, recovery, or other assigned offshore activities.
• Monitoring equipment performance and reporting defects or irregularities.
• Following lifting plans, risk assessments, and toolbox talk instructions.
• Maintaining accurate operational records where required.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Winch Operator or in a similar role.
• Previous offshore experience is preferred.
• Relevant operator training and competency certificates.
• Valid offshore medical certificate.
• Valid offshore safety training, such as BOSIET or FOET, where required.
• Valid passport and relevant employment documents.
• Good communication skills and a strong safety-conscious attitude.
