Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Winch Operator for an offshore project based in Europe. The role involves operating winch systems in support of offshore operations, ensuring safe and efficient handling of equipment and loads. Candidates must be available in May and based in the UK or Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operating winch systems during offshore lifting and handling operations
• Supporting deck crew with load movement and equipment positioning
• Ensuring safe operation of winch equipment in accordance with procedures
• Conducting basic equipment checks and reporting any faults
• Following offshore safety regulations and project-specific instructions
Requirements:
• Full GWO certification
• Valid BOSIET/FOET certificate
• Valid Seafarer Medical certificate
• Based in the UK or Europe
• Previous experience as Winch Operator in offshore environment (preferred)
