Job Description:
iPS Powerful People is proactively building a global talent pool of experienced Offshore ROV Operators for upcoming international subsea projects. This position is not linked to a specific vacancy but is part of a strategic recruitment initiative to connect with skilled professionals who are ready to mobilize when suitable projects arise.
As an Offshore ROV Operator, you will be involved in subsea inspection, intervention, and installation activities, supporting offshore construction and survey operations. You will operate and maintain ROV systems in challenging offshore environments, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of subsea tasks. Details regarding vessel type, contract duration, and rotation will be confirmed once a matching opportunity becomes available.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Operating ROV systems for subsea inspection, maintenance, and repair activities
• Performing pre- and post-dive checks to ensure full equipment readiness
• Assisting with ROV launch and recovery operations
• Monitoring, recording, and documenting subsea activities using video and sensor data
• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing ROV systems and associated equipment
• Collaborating with offshore teams to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Adhering to HSE standards and actively contributing to safety initiatives
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position
• Valid Offshore Medical Certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Proven offshore experience as an ROV Operator
• Technical knowledge of ROV systems and subsea equipment
• Strong understanding of offshore safety and HSE procedures
• Ability to work effectively in international and multicultural offshore teams
