Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Radio Operator to join an offshore vessel operating in The Radio Operator is responsible for managing all offshore communications, including radio, satellite, and emergency communication systems.
The role ensures reliable and continuous communication with onshore teams, nearby vessels, and helicopter operations. The candidate will maintain accurate communication logs, support emergency response procedures, and ensure compliance with maritime and offshore communication regulations. This position requires strong technical competence, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a safety-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operate and monitor all radio, satellite, and emergency communication systems onboard.
• Maintain continuous communication with shore bases, vessels, and helicopter operations.
• Keep accurate radio logs and communication records in accordance with regulations.
• Support emergency response and distress communications when required.
• Ensure all communication equipment is properly maintained and operational.

Requirements:
• Valid GMDSS Certificate
• Valid BOSIET certification (HUET with CA-EBS)
• Valid Offshore Medical Certificate
• Valid CAA certificate
• Meteorological Observer Certificate
• Valid STCW certificates
• European passport holder
• Proficiency in English communication
