Position: Pipe Operator

Location: Europe / Offshore

Job Description:
We are urgently recruiting an experienced Pipe Operator to join a Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) operating in European waters. The role involves managing dredging pipe systems and assisting in offshore dredging operations. The position requires prior experience on TSHD vessels and a strong understanding of dredging operations to ensure safe and efficient vessel performance. The assignment is ASAP with a 3-week on / 3-week off rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operating and monitoring dredging pipe systems onboard the TSHD
• Supporting dredging operations and offshore activities
• Assisting deck crew with positioning, maintenance, and equipment handling
• Maintaining logs and operational records for dredging activities
• Ensuring compliance with vessel safety, environmental, and operational procedures
• Participating in drills, toolbox talks, and safety briefings

Requirements:

• Previous experience onboard TSHD as Pipe Operator (mandatory)
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Strong safety awareness and offshore work ethic
• Ability to work in a dynamic offshore dredging environment
