Job Description:
An opportunity is available for an experienced Excavator Operator to join a DP2 Fall Pipe Rock Installation Vessel operating in European waters, with joining scheduled for 04 May. The vessel is engaged in subsea rock installation projects, typically supporting offshore wind farm and pipeline protection works. The role involves operating excavator machinery onboard in a dynamic offshore environment, requiring precision, safety awareness, and prior experience on similar vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operating excavator equipment safely during subsea rock installation operations
• Supporting offshore construction and seabed preparation activities
• Performing routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Coordinating with deck and project teams during operations
• Ensuring compliance with HSE and offshore operational procedures
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Proven experience as Excavator Operator offshore
• UK Work Permit (mandatory)
• Previous experience on DP vessels preferred
