Job Description:
Select Offshore is currently recruiting an experienced Offshore Excavator Operator for an offshore project. This is a 6-week rotation commencing on 5 July. The successful candidate will operate offshore excavation equipment in support of subsea construction, cable installation, trenching, or other offshore operations while ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company HSE procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate offshore excavator equipment safely and efficiently during offshore construction activities.
Perform excavation, trenching, and seabed preparation work as required by the project.
Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance of excavation equipment.
Follow project procedures, lifting plans, and HSE regulations at all times.
Coordinate with the offshore team to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
Requirements:
Valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificates.
Medical fitness certificate (Offshore Medical).
Proficiency in English communication.
Valid GWO Working at Height certificate.
Valid GWO Sea Survival certificate.
Valid BOSIET certificate with CA-EBS.
Previous experience as an Offshore Excavator Operator is mandatory.
Experience on offshore construction, cable lay, or subsea projects is preferred.
