Job Description:

We are currently seeking experienced Equipment / Carousel Operators to join a Cable Lay Vessel operating under our client in UK waters. The role involves managing and operating cable lay equipment and carousels during offshore subsea projects. This position is ideal for candidates with vessel-based or offshore experience who are comfortable working in a dynamic offshore environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operate and monitor cable lay equipment and carousels during offshore operations
• Ensure equipment is maintained in safe and optimal working condition
• Coordinate with deck and engineering teams to support cable installation operations
• Follow all HSE procedures, permit-to-work systems, and company policies
• Report any equipment faults or operational issues promptly

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating cable lay equipment / carousels
• Offshore or vessel-based experience preferred
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Right to work in the UK is mandatory
