1st Backhoe Operator for Offshore Vessel

Job Description:

Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is currently looking for an experienced 1st Backhoe Operator to join a client’s dredging operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the backhoe dredging equipment safely and efficiently, supporting dredging activities, and ensuring that operations are carried out in accordance with onboard procedures.

Candidates should have solid experience in the role and be available for the upcoming assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operating the backhoe dredging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out dredging operations according to the project requirements.
• Conducting routine checks of the backhoe and associated equipment.
• Coordinating with the vessel and dredging teams during operations.
• Following all onboard safety and operational procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a 1st Backhoe Operator.
• Previous experience on Backhoe Dredgers.
• Valid STCW certificates, where applicable.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid seafarer documentation.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Availability for the upcoming assignment.
