Location: United Kingdom / Offshore (Within 12NM of UK)
Select Offshore is urgently looking for Multiple Oilers to join a Cable Lay Vessel operating offshore in the UK. The project is set to start on 1st April, with 6-week rotations. As the vessel will be within 12NM of UK waters, candidates must have a Frontier Work Permit to be considered for this role.
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assist in the operation and maintenance of the vessel’s machinery and equipment
• Perform routine checks and inspections in the engine room and report any irregularities
• Monitor fuel, oil, and consumables, and support oiling and greasing operations
• Assist engineers in the repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Ensure compliance with vessel’s Safety Management System (SMS) and safety procedures
• Participate in drills, safety meetings, and day-to-day operations as required
• Frontier Work Permit for the UK (mandatory for working within 12NM)
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Seaman’s Book and Medical Fitness Certificate
• Previous experience as an Oiler on offshore vessels (preferably Cable Lay or similar)
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a multinational crew and follow safety protocols
