Oiler for Self-Propelled Barge

Job Description:

PT Setya Dharma Maritim Manajemen is urgently recruiting 3 Oilers for a Self-Propelled Barge (SPB) delivery project from China to Guinea.

This vacancy is specifically for a project delivery vessel. Candidates with previous SPB or cargo vessel experience are required, with candidates who have prior experience working in Africa receiving priority. Applicants must have good English communication skills, meet the age requirement, and hold valid seafarer documents through 2028.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting engineers with routine engine-room operations.
• Carrying out machinery maintenance and cleaning duties.
• Monitoring and reporting machinery conditions.
• Assisting with lubrication, fuel and other engine-room tasks.
• Following onboard safety procedures and maintaining engine-room cleanliness.

Requirements:

• Indonesian nationality.
• Valid Oiler/Engine Rating certificates and seafarer documents.
• All documents must be valid until 2028.
• Previous experience on SPB or cargo vessels.
• Previous Africa experience is an advantage and will be given priority.
• Maximum age: 50 years old.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ready to join on 15 September 2026.
