Job Description

Ires Ship Management LLP is recruiting an Oiler to join a DP2 Platform Supply Vessel. The successful candidate will assist the engineering department with machinery monitoring, engine-room operations, and routine maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Monitor engine-room machinery and equipment.
• Assist engineers with routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Check machinery conditions and report leaks, defects, or abnormalities.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness and ensure tools are properly stored.
• Follow engine-room safety procedures and company requirements.

Requirements

• Valid Schengen visa — mandatory.
• Relevant Oiler qualifications and seafarer documentation.
• Valid STCW certificates, as applicable.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and seafarer’s book.
• Previous offshore vessel or PSV experience is an advantage.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and communicate effectively in English.
