Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Oiler to join an LCT Cargo Vessel. The successful candidate will assist the engineering department with machinery operation, routine maintenance, lubrication, and engine room housekeeping to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist engineers in engine room operations and maintenance.
Perform lubrication of machinery and equipment.
Monitor engine room systems and report abnormalities.
Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in machinery spaces.
Support routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Requirements
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Engine Rating certification (where applicable)
Previous experience as an Oiler on cargo vessels is preferred
Valid passport and seaman's book
