Job Description:
Sheffield Energies is seeking an experienced Oiler for a short-term offshore assignment onboard a Jack-Up Heavy Maintenance & Construction Vessel in Rotterdam. The successful candidate will support engine room operations, machinery maintenance, and ensure the reliable operation of onboard mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist engineering officers with engine room operations.
Lubricate, clean, and maintain machinery and auxiliary equipment.
Monitor engine room systems and report abnormalities.
Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping duties.
Follow company safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
European or Malaysian nationality
Previous offshore engine room experience preferred
Valid UK Work Permit
GWO Working at Heights
GWO Manual Handling
Chester Step Test
HUET including CA-EBS
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
